Brand and visual identity
of an urban and architectural
competition
The axis of Červený vrch in Prague 6 is undergoing an extensive revitalization and spatial transformation as part of an architectural and urban design competition. The competition is organized by ONplan, which provides cities with strategic planning and redevelopment services. The aim of the competition and subsequent collaboration with participating entities such as CPI Property Group and the City of Prague is to bring a necessary framework for sustainable urban development and high-quality landscape design to the area. The project’s brand builds on the characteristic cascading layout of the site. The visual identity is based on formal principles derived from the area’s transformation over time, from 1938 to the present. Distinctive modernist collages present Červený vrch as a place with strong potential for community living, natural social interaction in a cultivated public space, and a sufficient range of quality services.
