Spring is a season of emotions, inspiring encounters, a time of love and new connections. It is music, above all, that can awaken our feelings or convey them in their full intensity. And in times like these, we believe that emotional resonance is more needed than ever.
Inspiration
The visual concept of the 78th edition of Prague Spring draws on the personal relationships of composers and their partners — the individuals who inspired, shaped, and accompanied them. This theme offers a glimpse beyond the graphic identity, into the personal backstories behind the music.
Visual identity
The typographic compositions captivate through their mystery and a certain musicality — they cannot be read at first glance. One typeface fades into another, blending and intertwining, set against vibrant gradient backgrounds that create a space for imagination. Upon closer inspection, you’ll discover two first names — two personalities, two worlds — the composer and their muse, forming a single unity. We hope this visual interplay inspires a curiosity to learn more about these musical figures, their life stories, and the music that continues to enrich our own lives.
The project also included the design for the 74th edition of the Prague Spring International Music Competition and the Rudolf Firkušný Piano Festival.
